One day in July, the Cooks—Judy, Jim, Sara, KC and Mark—took flight to the great northwest, just so they could board a cruise ship and visit parts of southeast Alaska.

Alaska is so large, that the Cooks couldn't possibly see it all in the limited time they had available. But they surely enjoyed what they did see.

They played, they ate, they gawked, they rested, and in general they had a ball.

Their ship was the Norwegian Pearl, just one of the many cruise ships in those waters during the summer months.

You can look at the map below to see the area they visited in better detail. The rest of this site will give you an even better look.

In these pages you can see what they saw along the was by opening the pages on the

Norwegian Pearl,
Southeast Alaska's Inside Passage,
Whale-watching near Juneau
,
Glacier Bay,
and Butchart Gardens .

Skagway and Ketchikan pages may show up later, and possibly a page or two on Seattle and Tacoma.

You will see many beautiful photographs on these pages, but there's one thing that's really scarce: picture of pipe organs. This was a vacation, after all!

Just enjoy Alaska.
